A few good things happened today...

I went to Goodwood, which is just such a wonderful airfield and race circuit, it's like it's lost in the mists of time

I met Tom and the rest of the Classicflight crew and a nicer bunch of people you couldn't wish to meet. I mean where else would you find people that obsessed with 'Percival'

I spent a blissful half hour in the Rapide

Lovely plane, great pilot and a mighty fine view (despite the mist)

Aaaahhhh.. DeHavilland!

RNAS Ford: Part open prison, part Sunday Market

Well I never new there was a disused strip at Bognor...well I never

Tangmere: I've been there countless times, but never from this angle

Finally: There was no better way to arrive at Goodwood this morning, than to see the Rapide, gracing the skies above the Prentice.

Finally a sincere thanks to Tom for letting us know they were at Goodwood today and for making the event so laid back and personable.

Regards

John

Hi Garry. You know I've tried every link style on photobucket and maybe it's my system, but I just can can't get them to post as images.

Any ideas?

John

That is strange John

Image

As you can see if I call you pic into my account it displays properly

Can you )If you want) email me a couple of the pics as they are BEFORE you put them into photobucket and I can have a look if there is anything there upsetting them. But I can't see anything wrong with your link

I think the Bognor (disused) strip is the former factory strip of Lec Refrigeration  formerly coded EGKC
