Thanks everyone for your kind words, it is certainly encouraging.
Had a problem with the textures on the hangars that I've been trying to resolve today. They loaded up fine but whenever I switched views, the textures went all blurry. I decided to redo the textures once again but this time I didn't use mipmaps. Seems to be working fine now. Just wondering if it would matter if mipmaps wasn't used as it doesn't seem to do the scenery any harm....at the moment anyway.

I'm going to leave those til last, BT. Not sure how I'm going to implement them into the scenery. Would be good if I can get static models or even ai models would suffice but can't locate any :sad:britishtourer wrote:It looks just like the real thing Gordon! The only thing missing now is the Comet and Vulcan.

Added a few more details. Apart from the few buildings I've added the perimeter fence which seperates the museum from the rest of the airfield. Where the fence crosses the old taxiways there should be gates which are normally closed but I've left them out at a couple of places so that the museum area is accessable from the runways.
Also gave me an excuse to fly Aeroplane Heaven's wonderful Hurricane for the first time

Another pic....this time with the comet parked up outside hangar 1.
What I did was to create a flightplan which was suggested by Kevin on another thread and used DM's comet as ai. Converted the textures to dxt3 with the program that was provided with the comet package. This is probably the easiest way to get aircraft as static scenery.
