I think you got it right Tom when you described that as aerodynamically "smashing its way through the air"!

Nice shots

Great photos, thanks for sharing. I don't want to say anything negative about the Percival P-40 Prentice T1 since I don't really know anything about it. But I don't think its grand enough to be considered "Queen of the skies".

Your photos never fail to impress Tom.

You have a lucky perspective most of us will never see.

Fantastic shots, I always enjoy your air-to-air photos. As has been mentioned, you have access to a very lucky perspective and indeed subject matter, which I’m really glad you take time to share with us.

Just out of interest, what was the camera ship used?

Cheers Guys.

Alex, the camera ship was Rapide G-AGTM. We were on our way to Peterborough for a days pleasure flying there. I like to take advantage of any photo opportunities as our archives are/were sadly lacking!

Tom.

Don't know why but the front end of a Prentice always reminds me of a cartoon dog.

Just the snout and nose (Spinner on the end) :worried:

Also the cockpit is like sorryful eyes

Sort of ugly in a cute way and you want to love it no matter what

Right straight jacket back on. :madhead:

Nice pics Tom
