Finally tried out the AH Hurricane that I installed the other day. I must say I do like it and their Spit  I was thinking, what with those (being freeware now) and DG's Lanc, could we not form a cbfsim virtual BBMF team?

I think there is a repaint available for the default DC 3 in the colours of the BBMF aircraft too.

S! Gents

FYI re BBMF

You can get a couple of nice BBMF repaints over at UKMIL for :-

Avro Lancaster QR-M, PA474 in the markings of 61 Squadron for DG's Lanc
Image

Douglas C-47 Dakota A-I, ZA947 in the livery of 267 ‘Pegasus’ Squadron for stock DC-3

Like all humans, my brain is composed of two halves, however ...
The left side has nothing right with it, and the right side has nothing left in it.

I think a freeware BBMF would be best. Dotn forget if we were to use them in MP sessions, everyone else has to have hte same planes installed for them to show.

lanc

Post by dswanson »

Dave,

I picked up an updated set of FDEs for your lanc for fs9. It flies well but when setting up the lanc as an AI plane I noticed that the cruise speed was only 140kt - is that right ? I'd have thought it would be nearer 200kt.

I'd like to increase the AI cruise speed - any ideas to what kt and which bits of the FDE to tweak ?
Regards,

Degsy

I maybe wrong but I actually thought AI cruise speed was built into the MDL file rather than either the aircraft.cfg or the AIR file
