Wow... I think hinch was either drunk or not wearing corrective lenses...

I do like both of those planes and the scenery though Paul. The Tu-95 is a plane I like to roar around in on occasion.

Hinch, the scenery is from Just Flight's 'British Airports Northern England ( Part 1). Its the only payware scenery I have, and I'm not buying anymore till after I get FSX. Compatibility and all that... :huf:

What can I say about the Budgie that hasn't already been said in here ? Gary, the number and quality of the textures in the three texture packs are almost reason enough to get the plane. I've really enjoyed 'flicking' through them on external view. Its almost like a little aviation history lesson.

Chris, I have another bare metal paint job for the Bear, but can't seem to get it to work properly, which is a shame because its better than the one in the picture above, I'll have a fiddle around and see if I can take another shot.

You have been here right Chris? : http://samdimdesign.free.fr/

There's no TU-95 but there is a TU-114...

Nice shots Paul. Just seeing that Ruskie makes me want to jump into a Frightning and intercept one!

Thanks Dave. Hugely interesting plane isn't it. I'm told it was so noisy that intercepting NATO aircrew could hear it over the sound of their own aircraft and through their bone domes.

I really must get that other paint job working. It really is a good example of the bare-metal texture artists skills. Watch this space.

Since I mentioned it, I thought I would tack on a picture of that new Bear texture by Lucian Lie. Don't ask me why I couldn't get it working before...it's just too embarrassing.

Anyway, here it is. I particularly like the weathered lettering on the aft fuselage. It reminds me of one of those neglected open-air exhibits they have sitting in the long grass at some Russian museums.
