Re: PMDG DC6
Looks to be a cracking model especially the flight deck though wonder how this will fair on frame rates? Also I think the price may be around the fifty quid mark so may well not bother.

Re: PMDG DC6 - RELEASED
I edited the title of this thread by adding 'Released' yesterday but no comments yet. Anyone coughed up the cash and bought it?
DC-6 fans are already raving and haven't been put off by the high cost. Nice looking model with a million features but the DC-6 isn't really me so I can't see the plastic shuddering in fear

Re: PMDG DC6 - RELEASED
Haven't got it myself. TBH, I'd have expected it to be more expensive, especially the P3d version, going by their other stuff. I quite fancy getting it, but I doubt I'd get my money's worth it of it.

About £54 but don't think I will ever bother with this one even though it looks extremely good, I won't be digging into my wallet aside from that, it may need a bit more powerful computer than mine to run it at its' best.

Beautiful model. I rarely fly my freeware DC-6 so I probably won't be purchasing this one. Stick some winglets on it and I may be interested.

When I get P3D v4, I'll get this DC-6B, and the A2A Constellation too. Large vintage props are just my cup of tea.
Re: PMDG DC6 - RELEASED
I'll wait a few weeks until any bugs are ironed out, it will keep me busy the whole snow bound winter.
Some very nice free paints available though!
Very expensive at $88 Canadian

Yikes $69.99!
I would love to purchase this but other things get in the way.... like food. Back to CalClassics then

Re: PMDG DC6 - RELEASED
Yes.. some members at SoH thought it seemed cheap.. well, less expensive than they were expecting.
I can't get worked up about it no matter how hard I try so any DC6ing I do (which is rare) will be done in the JF/AH masterpiece. On second thoughts.. I'll walk
