Of the 'F-4' or 'FH' variety?

My understanding is that initial release will be an F-4D (which is what the Cavanaugh's aircraft is). I haven't heard for sure from Scott as to whether or not he's gotten ahold of the Collings Foundation to get some additional information yet or not (they have the only airworthy private F-4 in the world), but I would suspect that if he can work something out, there will be additional information from the live aircraft in the future. :)

Is that to say that there'll be further releases after the D? I'd love to get my hands on an E/F, or perhaps one of the reconnaisance variants.

When I spoke to Scott on the subject in a general sense, the major limiting factor on how many variants are released of *ANY* of their ACCUSIM offerings is getting their hands on two things -

1) Manuals
2) Aircraft

If they can't do both, then they can't do the variant and/or aircraft. The reason for this is mostly self inflicted (desire to live up to the name of the product), but it's also practical. How do you do an F-4J if you don't have good documentation of the differences between it and the F-4D you got pictures of and manuals for? This is why there's not been a bubble canopy P-47 yet. They've not been able to get good data on how the bubble canopy affected the flight characteristics of the aircraft, so they won't release a patch or additional download of that model if/until they do so (and there's the time and money to get it done).

Hi Guys,

Just moved this thread down here to payware. I don't think it's freeware.
