Well one GOOD one would be nice as we don't even have one yet especially when it comes to FSX.

The ones that are out there are all lacking in one respect or another.

Looks a bit shiny, :dunno: but otherwise nice.

Methinks another product from young Dan, perhaps he will pop in and confirm it. There are WW2 versions, but I have always loved the post-war MR variants (used whilst waiting for the Shack and as a trainer for Coastal types in the 1950s) so posted that, not a variant ever done on MSFS before...I think :$

I didn't know what to say about that screenie when I saw it earlier and I still don't to be honest  The first glance isn't bad but looking further causes some doubt. The backdrop is interesting but an awful lot of white vehicles.. which get's you looking harder at the aircraft itself. Not sure of the Lanc Mk but the canopy looks a bit high and not straight along the upper surface. Could be that the pilot is too small of course

A godsend for FSXers wanting something native mind you ;-)

The canopy doesn't look quite right to me either..definitely a bit tall, and seems to get wider bottom to top in one of those shots. I'll wait to see more screenies, because I know certain things can get distorted when seen from one specific angle, yet will be spot-on from every other angle.

By the way, I have the impression that A2A might have an FSX Lanc in the works, and certainly Ed Walters at Plane Design is working on one.

There are other shots on that link. The canopy looks similar to the old Revell 1/72 scale Lanc which was also not quite correct. The scenery is the wonderful (but huge, for a tiny island) Alderny for FSX. I also note that this aircraft has guns in the front turret, I am pretty sure guns were only used in the tail turret (and even then not all the time) on Coastal Command OTU Lancs.
