Allegedly the shortest landing a B-52 has ever managed. I would think he had to kill the lift rather rapidly, hence the Navy touchdown. ;)

And she won't be getting out. That was before the M11 cut through the runway at that end.

I believe those wing stay things were refered to as "outriggers" for some crazy reason.

Yes they were...like the outrigger on a canoe

The removable ones on the U2 are often called pogos

The Harrier's are outriggers :)
