Well.. it's not NEW news mate  The P-38 has been a freebie for a while and Joe has highlighted it in the Stuka thread. I've never bothered with it as the civvie model has always had a pretty poor reputation for being a frame hog (but doesn't all Milviz stuff hog the frames!!) Plus.. I have the warbird which never gets flown so another type is a waste of time and space.. especially space 8)

Eastern time, I assume is BST -5 so midnight would be 5Am the next day in the UK.

Thanks for the HU, DB. They have a nice range, but nothing grabs me at the moment. If I flew helicopters in P3D, that MD 530F would tempt me, but that's it.

The 530 is a nice model mate.. as is their 407. Got 'em both

Only downside is that there are few (if any) UK reg repaints for them. This said, the 530 comes with 1 (perhaps 2) UK reg and the 407 has a default paint 'G-BLCK'. Never checked to see if it's a real reg but I doubt it

Good lord.. a Spitfire!!

Thanks Colin  I did have a look at the PK not long after I bought it and started fiddling but the kit itself is a bit of a monster and I soon lost interest. All the real paints have lots of curvy lines and I could see it turning into a nightmare  A few have been done for US registered airframes so you're not exactly stuck with the defaults but I've yet to see a real UK reg repainted.
