The behind-the-scenes intrigue aside, I always thought LM stole too great a march on Dovetail for them to ever catch up. When P3Dv4 was released, some prominent developers announced that they had v4 installers already done - for example, Aerosoft and Orbx were ready to go from day one, while A2A had their GA range sorted in a few weeks. All the doom-mongering about 32-bit add-ons being rendered useless was, to a large extent, unfounded, and so there seemed little reason to hold back, or to wait and see.
What will happen to DTG now ? How much money have they invested, and now will see precious little return on it ? I suppose they could send the libel lawyers round to PMDG - might get something back there.

Re: Flight Sim World
It will be interesting do see what DTG does next, as I see it they have three options
1) Start again on a smaller scale,
2) Sell the licenses to someone else (LM Please)
3) Bankruptcy.

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
