WIP: Justflight Caravelle

Post by mgchristy »

It's got some British genes in its family tree, so I figured I'd post this here. It'll be nice to finally see a Caravelle with a VC for flight simulator.

Very interesting choice. I'm not massively into the Caravelle but it's still admittedly a classic airliner. I wonder if JF are making a conscious effort not to just pander to us with our Classic British tastes?! Regardless, I welcome diversity and look forward to seeing how this pans out.

A beautiful aircraft, but I don't know much about it other than the loss of the Air France one in 1968. Might get it.

If it's an in-house project I'll be getting it, if it's another AH model I won't go near it.

...and if it's an in-house project maybe we'll see a downloadable demo of the Caravelle. :)

Even some of the AH/JF joint projects have downloadable demo's.
This will be an interesting one, not certain if I will get it but its nice to have a variety.

Ditto on the "in-house" sentiment.

For sheer elegance, the DH Comet IV leads the field, closely followed by the Caravelle (which used the Comet nose section) with the A340-500 a close third.

Are you mad? It's just boring!
What about the VC10, or Concorde?

Oooh I don't know, Mr. G. I think I am on record way back opining that the A340 is a beautiful aircraft. VC-10 and Concorde ( sort of ) certainly , but that Airbus is rather lovely. :agree:

EDIT: the irrefutable evidence - apologies, but I'm with Mike W  viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8674&p
