Re: WIP: Justflight Caravelle
I don't think I'd call the A318 beautiful, but it's just so cute! And that's saying a lot coming from a Boeing man.

What on earth is going on lads? Everyone 'coming out' as Airbus fans? Dear lord, whatever next, wearing flowers in your hair and sandals? I'm only joking, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we're all entitled to our own opinions and tastes. Even if they are a bit weird...

Re: WIP: Justflight Caravelle
All credit to someone with much more time than I have:
A318: Nanobus, Baby Bus
A319: Microbus, Shorty, Short Bus
A320: MiniBus, NintendoJet, ScareBus, Chainsaw, Deathjet, Freddie Kruegers wet dream, Toulouse Grasscutter, The Strimmer, Fifi, Die-by-Wire, the French Bitch, Sully's Ark. What's the difference between an A320 and a beaver? 4000 trees per hour. AKA 'The John Wayne' Because they "Chop down trees, move mountains and kill Indians!"
A330: Slippy, The Aircraft in Plastic
A340: Four-person Hair Dryer, LowRider (takes so long to get off the ground)
A350: The Racoon
A380: Double Decker Bus, Megabus, Whalejet, the Wannabe Queen, Flying Forehead
I'm sure there are lots more...
Jim
(Some of these are in pretty poor taste, but as I found them)

I'm sorry I thought this was a Caravelle thread and suddenly we are in Airbus territory. Fascinating how these things morph.

Re: WIP: Justflight Caravelle
Not saying the 330 looks bad but for the most part but when I see an a300/a330/a340/b767/b777 there is really nothing to tell them apart, except the 340 has more engines
Joe Cusick,
I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.

I'm sure I had the Caravelle way back for fs9, cannot remember who's model it was, but it was very nice.
anyway anything that doesn't have a glass cockpit or FMC will definitely entice the credit card from my cobweb encrusted wallet.

Re: WIP: Justflight Caravelle
I see no utterance of "Trident and " "beautiful" in the same sentence in here, so we're still on the safe side.
But on the other hand, there's no mention of the Vanguard, so I'm not that sure.

That'd be Allied FS Group's model.
