Anyone got screenshots of the C-130s ? It's the only improvement I understand.

:-O Blimey, that's alright then! It's not a bad model at all, even if there are one or two dodgy textures in the VC. I wonder if CS sorted out the sound problem, where it goes very quiet just after take off.

Thanks for the info Dave G.

Active sky already has a compatible beta out.
The Herk is the CS one, but LM have managed to mess up the textures on the wing drop tanks. Somehow they've been mapped to the tail texture. 8) They've said it will be fixed in the next update, but whether that will be a quick hotfix or the next major update I don't know.
Should be possible to replace the model with the original CS one if you have it. I'm going to look into that tonight if I get time. :)
Only had a quick test last night, but all seems fine so far.
Update went without any problems. Performance seemed better, but it'll need more time to be sure.

How can LM mess up the C-130's paint job ? Could they not have gone next door to the Hercules production line and checked ?

Anyway, I'm still in a quandary about P3dV4 and X-plane 12 - which way should I go ? If they could just do something about the night lighting in P3D, it'd probably decide me.

I noticed that the offending tanks can be edited out in the cfg.file.
leave the AC 130 alone as this one has a plain texture on the fin and doesn't matter so much.
Works for me until LM come up with a fix.
Really like the model though!

Thanks for that Rob. I assumed they could be removed somehow as they don't show in the selection screen.
I'm going to try a full LM / CS merge as the LM version doesn't include all the variants. :cpu:

Am I reading that correctly, 1400 gallons in each of those tanks??
