Thanks for the hu Brian.
I'll give that a try later. I'm intending to buy the full package anyway, but not until sometime in the new year.

I've just learned that the Vulcan had no toilet. :$ What good is it to be a bomber crew member if you don't have the luxury of getting up, stretching your legs, and using the toilet on a long mission? Oh well, off to YouTube to watch 'XM607 Falklands' Most Daring Raid' for the thousandth time.

Tried the demo last night. Pretty much what I was expecting from the JF in house team. The VC is excellent, a massive improvement over they old Iris model. Didn't have time to investigate the systems due to the time limit. Haven't tried landing yet either! Most of flights went over the 1500ft limit, so parts of the aircraft disappeared and the elevator locked up so I couldn't get down below 1500 again.

I managed to land it twice in 2 sessions but only just, due to the poor visibility I lost sight of the runway a couple of times then when I found it I had lost height due to looking out for the bl**dy runway and not watching my speed or angle of attack.

Definitely a pilots' plane this and as for the toilets the aircrew were given pee tubes to use but I had once heard that during the early days of the Vulcan the crews used to wear diapers (nappies to you) How true that was I don't know! :dunno:
