I noticed that there is a small error in the type/livery combinations:
VC10 C1K

Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, Modern Grey
Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, White/Grey
Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, 40 Years of VC10
Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, 90th Anniversary
Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, 95th Anniversary
Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, Camouflage
Royal Air Force, 101 Sqn, Gulf War, 'The Empire Strikes Back'
The last two are VC10 K2 variants, no C1(K) ever flew in these liveries. Also, the White/Grey option was a 10 Squadron livery, not 101 Squadron.

Apart from that, looking forward to this release... ;)

Just had a look for the manual and npwood had written: The link for the manual takes you to the old VC10 Standard manual released last year, not to the new VC10 Professional's manual.

So guess will have to wait for the new one to come out.

Regards
Nigel.
That would explain the lack of AAR panel.

The plan was to include a few stories about the VC10 in the manual, to give a bit of insight into the history of the aircraft. So you may run into some bits from my site when you read the VC10 Professional manual. ;)

Brilliant, thanks for the HU.

I remember my father took me to the Hucknall Airshow sometime during the early sixties and the VC10 did a display, I well remember the pilot actually spoke to the crowd as he was flying it and do remember that he said that he would not apply full power as it would deafen us!! :-O Bet they ignored that when taking off commercially!!

Regards
Nigel.

Quite often (IIRC - Tonks would know better) we'd use Full Power to take off at civil airports such as Manchester. It got you up to the noise abatement height (around 1500ft agl) quicker before the power was brought right back to avoid setting off the monitoring points!
