Orbx Sale

Post by Charlie Bravo »

Hi chaps,

Orbx currently have a rather good sale on until 1st June.

I've not looked at anything other than X-Plane scenery but the airfields/airports are now between £6.75 - £8.91 and TrueEarth GB, £14.86 each.

Blimey, True Earth GB at 50% off, plus all the UK airfields have an extra 10% off on top of the 40% cross platform discount I'd normally get. That is some sale. Stand back, I'm going in.

It gives me a good excuse to fly the JF Cherokee. I purchased the other, larger fields with the Saab 340 in mind.

I've been tempted with the FlyJsim 737-200 numerous times but I'm holding out for the Carenado Fokker 50 (my fav aircraft) and the JF F28. In the meantime, it's short hops around the UK.

I've now got all of True Earth GB but not a drive big enough to install it all  Some judicious rearranging of files and Steam apps might just let me squeeze it in. I also bought Elstree and Sumburgh. I have a feeling I'll be getting all the other UK airfields before the sale is done.
