I think they're simply trying to simplify their distribution requirements. As has been noted, some forms of payment systems have been less than reliable at paying out lately and this has caused problems for developers getting paid by the distributors. If REX has decided they want to deal with only one payment system and those sites don't offer payment through that service, then REX has to pull out. Nothing against those sites, just a decision by a business to simplify their lives and the necessary consequences of that choice.
