Well my fs2020 is a bit broken after latest update.

Can inly add a few items to Community folder before flight will not load past flight loading screen!
was fine on original.

Anyway modded the C152 livery pack to reg them all UK

Did a manual flight from Newcastle to Edinburgh round the NE coast for a bit of sightseeing.
(no autopilot fitted to the 152) :help:

Regards
Rick

I have got to Fayid on the great bitter lake today...This is where we were in 1953 when the Queen was crowned! That is four legs completed and much enjoyed. I am learning a lot about managing the AP...I am now setting a number of the AP knobs to ON before I take off and then as soon as I have got the gear up, I engage the AP and take my hands off...It turns onto course and climbs to the low altitude that I am using, leaving me to set up the cruise settings of throttles, pitch and mixture to my optimum numbers...I get a cruise TAS of 250 Knots. So tomorrow I will be turning onto South to head down Africa.

Got to Wadi Halfa now and took a couple of pics but my iPad seems to have a problem getting onto the site! I will try to add them in if I get it fixed.

I’m in the middle of re-installing MSFS2020 and I’m just halfway through the download after 6 hours!...It is all being done by the “Installation Manager” so I’m hopeful that it will be unbroken and I can start flying again!

OK...I've got it back in business again...Had to install a few aeroplanes, but sadly the SHOCK that I have been using a lot was not in the list of available downloads. It is 2nd Jan 2021 now and the installation took till 3 AM!!!

Anyway, I will do a bit of flying now...

Happy New Year everybody!

Can anyone confirm that the settings in the picture below will avoid having Quotas:-

Peter,

That's what I've got and the only limitation I seem to have is when too many other people are using the internet while I'm flying!

Hi Peter, Skipp.

That’s the same as mine too (although I haven’t flown in a while) but the only other setting might be your offline cache size. If you have a limit on that potentially if it needs to download more content and there’s nowhere to save it, it could cause problems.

Peter - I can recommend the Add On Linker utility at Flightsim.to which provides an easy way to keep add-ons outside the Community folder, only moving in a short cut to the add-on when you want to launch. You can find it here: https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker. It save a heap of time with many start ups.

Plus - have you found the C152X realism mod https://github.com/DRF30q/C152X which I think improves the C152 no end?......
