don't think I would want to come down into the clouds,...
Nigel.
No it was quite unpleasant on the descent.

Orbx have just released a free-ware airport from MS2020 Northern Oregon if you ever fly in that area.

There are very few bridges anywhere mate. The thinking is they are leaving most to 3rd party developers. It is a glaring omission. And there is a random tree in the middle of the Tyne, near the A & P yard if I remember rightly... need to blat that 😁

Is that still the fsx MDL or are you doing a full conversion?

Just used the converter

framerate is better than default FS2020 models too.

what does the converter do ? still FSX mdl format??

Chipmunk works quite well too.

Your Auster models work well too apart from Glass too mirrored.

SDK is too lacking currently
I want to sort Bump mapping but zero in the sdk

The converter just packages it up I think, and creates the necessary json files. It doesn't do any actual conversion of the model.
All the ones I've tried don't have the bump mapping working either. Don't know if it's a format problem or that it's just not supported for FSX MDLs. :dunno:
I'm converting my Rapide to MSFS native as a testbed, which is a bit of a learning curve to say the least!

New mandatory update for MSFS2020, you need to run the updates from the Microsoft store. :cpu: (not sure about Steam) 1.7.14
