When I can assign controls like mixture cut off to my throttles and find the right settings for sensitivity then I will come back to it.

Now back with P3DV5.

Have a look at this Nev (Would have helped if I had put the link in eh?)

Don't get too excited. That's just the FSX model ported over just to see what it's like. There's a few issues but it looks pretty good.
It'll be getting properly converted, though it's not a five minute job.
Well its a good FSX model and having it working without too great an effort is exciting, it shows that others are going to be able to convert other aircraft. Did you have any trouble with the gauges?

The Rapide has fully modelled 3d gauges so they seemed to work fine. Only issue I had there was the gauge glass was opaque so I couldn't actually see most of the gauges! I'm sure that can be overcome fairly easily though.

Think I'm ready to shell out for a second M2 drive to install 2020 on
I had the beta installed on a standard HDD and it struggled to keep up when the scenery got a bit intense. I didn't want to share the same M2 drive as P3d and I won't be ditching P3d just yet. The desire in the community to get legacy aircraft repackaged seems to have took off so to speak, so I don't think it will be too long before we see our old favourites in the sky :fly: :fly:
Another thing though for the likes of Pmdg etc. Who've stated they won't be doing "port overs". Could be months away

I think the danger with the port overs is they’ll kill performance, so credit yo PMDG and others for sticking to their guns.

If s as port over is done by converting the legacy Mdl to the new format, then performance should be ok I think. It seems clear that more tools are being made that will convert to the new format do as these are refined it should get better.

ICAOs need a bit of work from what I have seen so far in in Yorkshire, e.g. Church Fenton EGCM?

Completely agree Graham, there’s loads like that. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that so many old airfields have been created, even one that are no longer in use, but if it currently doesn’t have an icao code then they should have come up with a naming scheme that didn’t use legitimate icao’s.
