How did you get on with this Dave? I note on Facebook the Hunter is still their cover photo and the original post is still public :|

Haven't heard back from them. Forgot about it to be honest. I'll have to chase it up.

Worth taking a look here Dave, including the Facebook links:

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vi ... 021/320795

They will be "showcasing a bunch of user-created mods and legacy mods such as the Hawker Hunter flown by Team Viper and developed with help from FOSD"

Thanks for the link Andy. I have had a response from them that they would respect my wishes and not release a MSFS conversion. Doesn't stop them from doing it for private use of course.
Saying that, they've obviously out in a lot of work so I may reverse my decision and let them go ahead as it'll probably be quite some time before in able to do the conversion myself.

They only have permission to convert my Hunter to DCS, as freeware, not to MSFS or XP.
Hi Dave!

I somehow missed this from late last year - but as I'm contemplating dabbling with DCS, it helps to know your Hunter may make it there. I've loved the life out of those in FS9, FSX, and now P3D, so I hope to have my trusty old mate in that other sim too.

Whatever happens, thanks for these gems from all those years ago, and I hope this conversion issue gets resolved favourably for you.

Kind regards,

Daniel
