Hawker Hunter for MSFS announced

Post by spatialpro »

Foxtrot Oscar Simulation Designs recently announced on Facebook that they are developing their Hawker Hunter for MSFS (presumably as payware?)

This appears to be a development of their WIP Hunter for XP11, which spun off a WIP Hunter for DCS.

Cheers

They only have permission to convert my Hunter to DCS, as freeware, not to MSFS or XP.

Dave, if this is the case then hopefully you will remind them of the above.
Hope you get it sorted.

He did contact me asking for permission but I said no, as I want to do it myself.
Private use is ok, but not for a public release.

I can think of 2 things you could do and that is

1. You could reply to their Facebook Page and publicly state that they have not been given permission to develop what is essentially your design.

2. I don't know how aircraft whether free-ware or otherwise are going to be offered to the MS2020 community but you could log into the MS Flight Simulator Forum and post a warning in there that Foxtrot Oscar Simulations are using your model without permission, hopefully Microsoft will refuse to allow it to be made available either payware or Free-ware.

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/login

Worth a try Dave.

I've sent them a PM on their Facebook page, so we'll see what happens next.
