Classic British Flight Sim

The latest update to MSFS is available. A reasonably long list of bug fixes and general improvements. Unlike the previous update the installation of this one was an easy affair. I made a right horlics of the previous update because it wanted to install somewhere other than where MSFS was actually installed. This time the update picked the correct location correctly without any intervention from me.

Been onto my Microsoft account and clicked on services and subscriptions but where the hell do I find the update please?

Downloads and updates in the Microsoft store, in the top right under your account.

And the simulator automatically checks for updates on startup.

With the latest update, when ever I try to load any Legacy aircraft I get a CTD.

Yep, it doesn’t like the virtual cockpits.

It's the click spots in the VC it doesn't like. If you remove them it's fine.

I’ll try that with the nimrod. Haven’t had any FS time this week.

Fired up this morning to find Patch 1.8.30 avaialable. Labelled "Performanc Improvement.

Seems to be a load of patches to aircraft, arports and scenery.

Set it downloading and go to the pub.
