Dr1 for FsX

Post by Roger »

Freeware and I must have missed the post here (I've looked?) but it's a beautifully crafted aircraft. This is a repaint by Bob Rivera and brings the aircraft to it's full potential.

http://www.gennadich.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5008 for the aircraft and the SOH for the paint.

What an incredible model !

Probably the most detailed FsX model I've seen so far, and it is free!

Some detail shots; check out the details on the prop and engine:

Anyone tried getting onto the outhouse tonight?? Just tried a handful of times and the page keeps cycling every couple of seconds. Dunno what the hell is going on but it's impossible to get anything off there :o :dunno:

We had a severe server crash some days ago; most major issues seem to be fixed now, but I guess there are still some minor 'hiccups'..?

I've downloaded and installed the base package, plus two repaints. No problems encountered, and the aeroplane is superb in looks and nature. However, when I added the Bob Rivera repaint, the whole model disappeared from the FSX menu. It remains in the FSX simobjects aircraft list, but refused to appear in the menu. Removing the texture, and reverting the cfg, allows the model to reappear.

Has anybody else had this problem? Does anybody have any idea why it happens? Any help would be appreciated.

Dennis.

That is simply beautiful. There is something about WW1 planes I find amazing.
