Very, very nice Larry - thanks for sharing. Just done one sortie in her, love the crisp gauges & pilots!
Wish I had the same level of modelling & painting.

Larry..

Had a quick whizz around yesterday evening. As Keith says.. very nice indeed

Did any ever make it over to Blighty?? It'd be nice to have one with a UK reg *-)

EDIT: A link I found on Pprune suggests there are none on the UK register. However, N3864 lives here :)

Thanks for the comments guys and I'm glad you're enjoying her. It's been a long journey to get here (3.5+ years) but I learned a lot along the way and this is my first flyable model for FSX (I've made a lot of scenery objects before this project).

The paint kit has now been released and can be found here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/l ... nkid=17672

I've already started on the follow-up project which is to turn the 'B' model into an 'A' model which we want to keep close to the original 50's specs in terms of performance and equipment. The outside is almost done but the interior will need a complete rework to get that 50's look.

Once the 'A' is done we plan on making the 'Twin Navion' which has only ever been made for Xplane so far.

I'm also working on another project which will be more in keeping with the usual stuff on CBFS. The outside is 80% done and the interior is about 10% done.

Just Googled that 'N' number as I thought it seemed familiar and yes I had seen the photos lots of times before. :agree: :)

It's quite a nice scheme and would fit well on our 'new tip tank' model. The paint kit is out so have at it!

Sorry for the late reply

Hi Larry,

That's a very nice model you've made. ( You and all those who helped make it.)

Finely crafted sir!

:)

Took a while to bag it Larry, but finally made it and had a quick flight.

Very impressive - many thanks. :welldone:
