I'm sorry, DaveB

Post by FlyTexas »

So I'm flying along in Rob Richardson's beautiful F9F Cougar. I was having difficulties finding my destination, a Naval Air Station. In a moment of un-Navy like weakness...I asked ATC for directions to the airport. :$ I'm sure I broke some cardinal rule of Naval aviation. Upon landing I requested taxi instructions...the tower told me to park in the general aviation parking area. I'm sorry, DaveB. :RN:

You got down in one piece, by the look of it, that's the main thing; you didn't wreck Rob's creation. :)

Yep, the only thing that was damaged was my pride. ;) It's not very Navy-like to have to ask for directions to the airport.
