Cheers Nigel, just installed it. I was hoping that they might have deleted the reflections on the instrument glass, particularly the artificial horizon. It's okay-ish in daylight, but looks very odd at night. Still, a small gripe about a very good model. For some reason the artificial horizon was frozen, as if caged, when I first flew it. I don't think the cage/uncage button works. I reloaded the aircraft in the sim and all was well again.

Had a quick flight with this tonight and quite liked it. It certainly has some power!

Somewhere over the Cambridgeshire countryside having departed Duxford.

Great pics, CB. Is that True Earth scenery or something different ?

Thank you mate.

Indeed, True Earth. Costly but it gives a whole new feel to flying and navigation.

STN is from UK2000 mind.

Great pics Chris, just like everything about this aircraft and so much better to have the option of flying either 2 or 3 bladed prop. Wonder how easy it would be to install and IP with Avitab into the cockpit? Will have to look at the read-me file for instructions even though you can just open it from the Plug-in Menu.

Nigel.

Yes, TE isn't cheap, but well worth the money. Also, I shall have to look into which other UK2000 airports work in XPlane. :)

Further to that Paul Orbx will be making airports for P3D and X-Plane though they will carry a premium price tag as they are in their own words establishing a true end-to-end PBR workflow for the creation of P3D/XP11 airports.

Here is link to the thread: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/170 ... o-p3dxp11/

On the other hand to save a bit of money best to go with UK 2000 Scenery as it is, after all, extremely good but will be interesting to see how much Orbx are going to charge for the first release.

I have two UK2000 airports (STN, MAN) and one Orbx airport (SOU). The Orbx one is definitely more modern as such but as Nigel says, they command a higher price.

I must say, the STN package is pretty accurate but does have areas where it could be improved. That opinion is only formed based on me having access to all airside areas mind and anyone else possibly wouldn't notice the things I do.

If you look back at my screenshot with STN, you'll also notice there are no aircraft on the ground. That is one downside with UK2000 scenery in XP.
