In response to a recent post, this is how your progress through the ranks at FlyNET is achieved :
Points = Average Flight-Rating x Number of Flights
Less than 10 points : Second Flight Officer
Less than 25 points : First Flight Officer
Less than 50 points : Captain
Less than 100 points : Flight Captain
Less than 500 points : Senior Captain
More than 500 points : Senior Flight Captain
So now you know what you can aim for
