Maintenance

Post by Coire The Dog »

Hi Guys

When an a/c is approaching it's 97%, does it automatically get called in for a servicing, or does the last pilot who flew her have to mention it too management? :dunno:

If this question has been asked before, I apologise, but I cannot find the info. :worried: I am a newbie after all!!!!

Regards.........

Hi Mick

One of the fleet managers will put the aircraft in for a service when it needs one, you don't need to mention it.

There's a report in the CBFS stats to tell us when a service is due.
http://dmfly.cbfsim.org/CBFSOL_AIRCRAFT_SQL.php
They appear in the 'Priority for Maintenence' list when they get below 96.5%

Our rule is that pilots shouldn't fly anything with a status below 96%.
The reason is that if they ever get below 95%, maintenance is expensive and takes three days instead of one.
