FlyNET Back Online

Post by Chris Trott »

Okay, we're back up and running. Please be sure to log in and check that all your information is correct. If not, please post here and I will forward it on to Konrad when he returns for correction. It doesn't look like we lost anything though from checking my profile, so hopefully things are "back to normal".

Great stuff Chriss. I'll update the links on the main site pages. I don't want to start adding buttons to the forum just yet as i know with all the changes that are coming through from phpBB it will be a nightmare.

DM... check your PM's re the database. ;-)

Links on the main site updated.... The Navigation bar also now links to the G-CBFS area within Flynet, and directly to the G-CBFS forums in here.

Somehow, I thought this might happen. Looks like it's under attack. :dunno:

We're not sure what's going on. The best we can figure because it came back up is that we may have had a bandwidth overrun so they shut us down until our monthly usage was back below the plan, but know that it's gone again, no one's sure what's going on. No matter what, we can't get full resolution until Mid-September when Konny returns because the Hosting Company won't answer Fatih, who has access to some of the back-end stuff on the databases (Fatih is the guy who designed the FlyNET integration software) and no one else has any more permissions than him on the server other than Konny and DaKurt. So sadly we're at them mercy of those guys. As I've said before, our first priority when Konny returns is getting a new host and this is even more reason to do so because they should have at least answered Fatih when he called them instead of not returning his calls.
