FlyNET has a new host!

Post by Chris Trott »

We have secured new (and more reliable) hosting thanks to Fatih Koz of Turksim. A new client should be out within a couple of days to work with the new server location.

Please update your favorites and website links to: http://flynet.turksim.org/

Good news Chris, thanks for that ;-)

Also, the updated client (0.6.8b) has been released. Please download and install it. It accesses the new database location (on Turksim) and closes a major security hole (the one that allowed the hacker access to the database from what I understand).

We're back in business folks. Expect new and better features to be coming in the near future! :)

Does this mean it's actually up and running (as in.. you can book a flight and fly)??

Looks as though my holiday tooling about Glacier Bay is over :)
Now where did I leave all the aircraft?

Steve.

I think there is a new client & a new copy of libmysql.dll available for download.
The dll now has some kind of security improvement.

People are certainly up flying. Well done to Konny & their new host Fatih. :welldone:

Hi DM..

I downloaded the new client earlier and found that the library sql was new and the other two were actually older version (which I let overwrite anyway) Off we go.. into the wild, blue yonder
