Be patient please !

Gentlemen,

Please guys be patient. You have more than enough to get your teeth into getting used to FlyNET.

Although we already have some aircraft types in the fleet, as yet we do not have any routes to operate them. I shall be adding the routes once they have been decided upon and aircraft will be deployed as appropriate.

Once this is all set-up I want minimum intervention to be required by myself or anyone else for that matter. All that we are building is an appropriate and fulfilling environment where you can enjoy you flying. Taking away the financial aspect from FlyNET it is a very good 'pirep' database that we can use. It gives you a purpose and a channel for you to focus your flying.

We are here as guests of the CBFS forum and we need to be polite and sensitive to the main purpose of this forum and not detract from it. Keep your posts to a minimum and no thread 'hijacking'. If you want a chit chat about your holidays please retire to the Escorts and Stewards forum or send a PM.

Regards

John

Patiently waiting for Vanguard and Argosy flightplans to come on line, just a quick query, maybe I missed it on another thread, but, how is cargo calculated and added into a booked flight?

Regards

Sean

Hi Sean

Some Argosy plans available already EGSH-EGPD-EHAM-EGSH. Check the CBF65xx numbers. Not many yet, still waiting for suggestions from the masses. Regarding the cargo calc its quite a complicated calc to get the $ per kg per nm and then the factors of airline reputation/pilot 'ability' (%) are applied to get the payload. You can check the payload after you have booked the flight by looking at the 'Briefing document'. Whilst a flight remains booked by a pilot he can check the briefing document at any time through the 'Book Flight' page.

Rgds

As well, you must manually edit your payload to match that of the booking. The program doesn't do it for you... at least not yet...
