Client 6.4b - returns

Post by RAF_Quantum »

Hi Guys,

The latest fix for maintenance problems. Get it here http://flynet.en-studios.de/downloads/FlyNET_064b.zip

An explanation (pdf doc) of how maintenance is intended to affect aircraft is available here : http://flynet.en-studios.de/downloads/D ... n_064b.pdf

Back again after the abortive attempt of the 6.5b

Rgds

Hi Chaps,

i haven't been up at all this month.... until tonight. I'm running Vista Enterprise on my PC now, and must say its excellent. So anyway, first flight with the new client and there doesn't seem to be a flynet.ini  My first attempt at tonights flight bombed out after a few hours, so had another hunt for the ini file and its not there. Does anyone know if the net client uses the ini file or it may be a Vista issue. If someone could send me a copy of their flynet.ini file, I'll try and put it in manually and see if it make a difference.

Cheers

Found it!!!

Ok, for anyone who might use Vista in the future, its too clever... It doesn't allow stuff like the flynet.ini to go into the windows directory so it puts it...

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows

This won't show up in a default search either.
