Hi Guy's,

I've tried 6.7b and on the quickie from LL to KK, it worked fine. I used 'Standard' Mode and this worked as in 6.5.. that is, the client shows the FOB figure and you 'ADD' the 'EXTRA' fuel in the top window. I didn't appear to be over/under charged and the figures seem to be on the ball. Fuel given was what was asked for and was added to that already onboard.

I've not used 'COMPARE' yet but as I don't really like this method.. I won't be, as long as 'Standard' works as intended

My recommendation.. go get it guys

EDIT>>> STOP!!!!
Having just tried to reload at KK, I had 32kg FOB and added 30 for the flight back to LL. The new client gave me a total of 8830kg :worried: Needless to say, the Dove will not takeoff with 8.8t of fuel onboard!! Glad I chose a short flight and can get a cab back to LHR if necessary

Okey doh..

Despite trying a couple more times.. the 6.7 was intent on giving me 8830kg instead of 62 in total using STANDARD mode. The only way I was able to get off the ground (literally) was to close the client again.. fuel the aircraft to the required amount then reopen the client and select 'COMPARE' mode. This has worked and I don't need a cab afterall.

Can't be bothered to keep pratting about so I'll be leaving 6.7 alone. Fingers crossed 6.8 yealds better results

Taking up Chris Trott's remark on another thread.. DaKurt wasn't able to take out the offending bits without messing with something else. We now get green text on certain sections. Very nice but why couldn't he just do the fix?? He's a prat :poke:

i agree, in a threat over at flynet he said, he hoped what he was changing would work, surely they could do some testing before release to see if it worked

Let us hope he does. I've taken the unusual step of posting my findings of 6.7 directly on the FlyNET forum in the hope that those with the power to fix it SEE IT and fix the darned thing.

This isn't a great deal of fun at the moment is it

I was about to send hem a PM, but then I thought better of it.

You can't suspect to have a sane argument with a 5-year old.

"fuck-you" and then close the thread.....

I think this was the drop.

I will now concentrate on developing our "own" client instead.
