With the implementation of the MZFW calcs, some of the figures given in the briefing document didn't quite make sense but this has now been addressed. The calcs for the revised Briefing document are as folllows :
e.g. Vanguard
Passengers : 139 x 82kgs (77 + 5 hand baggage) = 11398kgs. reported as 11.4 tonnes
Baggage (hold) : 139 x 20kgs = 2780kgs. reported as 2.8 tonnes ++++++++++++ new field on the Briefing document +++++++++++++
Cargo : 6242 kgs. reported as 6.2 tonnes. This figure is per MZFW calc.
All looks a lot neater now. Hold baggage was always lumped in with the cargo figure apparently at 15kgs per pax. All well and good but some aircraft show nil cargo, so would in effect show no baggage weight. With these new calcs that has now been sorted
