Do you have to fly at the timetabled flight time?

I realised on a flight I'm doing right now from EGGP to EGFF (conveniently I realised just AFTER I started the flight in the client) that I'd forgotten to set the sim time to 14.30 or whatever it was meant to be, with the result that the flight is taking place significantly sooner (sim time) than it should be...

How much of a problem is this, I haven't got a penalty for it (yet) nor can I see it in the list of things FSA gives a penalty for, so I'm not really sure.

Hi Tom..

In the grand scale of things, it doesn't matter a great deal. Where you see a pilots rating for a month as being over 100% (seems hard to take in I know).. the extra points are gained by flying at the correct times and by being within 5mins of takeoff and arrival. In reality.. you can fly a flight at whatever time you want. The important thing is that you land at the correct destination airfield ;) You won't get marked down by the client and neither us as a VA or you won't get penalised :)

You should've seen my times when I was with CBFS since I flew a UK schedule from a US timezone. :)
