Another question for you.

I've read the 'things to do' bit on page one of the thread and note that return flights are the best way to go if poss. So.. do you book a return flight initially or from A-B then once at B, book another flight back to A?? :think:
I note that once your parking brake is applied, this signals the client that the flight is complete so.. my guess is that you have to go in and book a return but this isn't clear.

No.. it's both ;-) You may need FSUIPC4 to use FSX or.. you may be able to get straight in using Simmconnect or whatever it is that is built-in to FSX. I know that the latest client uses the native software for FSX but it's a bit confusing for me as I only use FS9

Interesting, I didn't see, in this tread, about the parking break penalty.

When you reach your destination, taxi to the gate, or pull onto a taxiway and apply the parking brake. Application of the parking brake post-landing is the Client programme's 'trigger' to acknowledge a flight has ended.

That doesn't state a penalty will be given. But, the way I read it or read somewhere (I'll have a look), is once you've landed, it triggers the client that the flight has ended, as the end button now becomes an option.

But anyway, I know this now. Hopefully I know all things that go against pilots, speeds, lights and brake.

FSAirlines has a basic 'pilot rating' score, with penalties deducted for any of the following:-
Taxi-speed exceeded 25kts
Landing Lights off below 1000ft
Landing Lights on above FL100
Speed exceeded 250kts below FL100
Aircraft crashed
Exhausting fuel supply
Landing at wrong airport

After landing you have a minute to reduce speed to under 25kt or else you will be hit by a speeding penalty.

Point taken. I actually didn't realise not putting your parking brake on was a penalty. I've always been under the impression that without the brake on, your flight would reset if you closed the client down.. eg, it had not finished. I did on another thread stress that before you apply the parking brake, to make sure you were fully stopped. We don't go out of our way to mention things like parking brakes if they were not necessary.

Looking at your profile, you haven't been hit for the penalty anyway. This may be because you're still registered as a Pilot under training. Whatever.. it seems you still have your ratings intact, albeit at zero

Oooh, then is it just the flight that gets a rating? As my first one was 95% and my return to London tonight saw 100%.
