Hi Dave,

So Sim time, yes that makes sense. Wondered if FSA logged the actual time, but that clears it up. Thanks Dave

Just to say that I found the "The Client" page on the FSA homepage by clicking the the "Flight Tracker" link in the Navigation sidebar, so perhaps step 9 in the ABC needs updating...

As a quick aside and an aid for an earlier point about checking groundspeed (for aeroplanes without a GS readout)...

I find that having the bog standard FS default GPS open whilst taxiing gives me my groundspeed and helps me get around airports/airfields without incurring the wrath of FSA. Of course it's turned off and kept off for all other aspects of the journey.

A good tip Gary.. tks

DK..
So I see! We eventually get our ABC up to date then FSA go and re-hash their homepage!

DaveB: Yes, I guess there'll always be that dragon to chase.

Further to Fodda's tip above -- thanks for that -- I've recently stumbled across what looks like an add-on (for FSX) called "RCBgh-50" that's supposed to add some groundhandling gauges to a cockpit. I can't recall where I downloaded it from and've yet to try it, but will do so anon. Is this add-on old news here? I also wonder whether FSA would accept it.

So much to learn...

Hi David :hello:

Fraser made a simple lamp gauge that will illuminate above a GS of 20kts to alert you of impending doom. You can grab it HERE

Thanks for that, Dave (and Fraser!). I've downloaded it and will give it a go anon.

In case anyone following this is interested, those "RCBgh" gauges I mentioned apparently include some pushback options. They need a little fiddling to install, so I haven't got round to trying them yet.

Please help.

Hi Ady :)

It's not obvious is it and changing it's name didn't help! Click on the 'Information' tab and you'll see a 'Flight Tracker' tab on that page. This is the client ;)

Got it thanks,

Now I just need to be assigned trainee status, I won't bore you with my RW qualifications for getting round that :)
