Hi,

Yes, I'd like to get a Channel Airways airframe or two to be based at Southend.

Coolio Trevor McDonald, News at ten, in the Crew Room

It'd be cool to have some Channel Viscount's at Southend ;-)

I was reading the other day (shock horror) that the majority of the VC9 flights out of Stansted were on behalf of Channel :o Pity they never went ahead and bought a VC9 of their own.. though they managed to buy just about everything else and ruin themselves :brick:

Hi Simon

Airline and Airliners is a series.

Each one covers a classic British Aircraft. Many of them are now well out of print.

The ones I have had..although most are now missing are

Viscount 700
Vanguard
Britannia
Trident
Viking
Comet
VC10

AHS stocked them as welll as Midland Pub

Try a Google and see what comes up :)

Thanks for the reply. I thought it would be a series. I'll start looking.

Good luck with the hunt Simon!! Some of those titles are still readily available (at a price) while others (the Vanguard) are scarcer than rocking horse droppings :o
