Why would that be?? :dunno:

Garry

Couldn't see it on the Route enquiry page whilst I saw the DC10.

Dave, that looks nothing like a Tristar it has four engines.

John is obviously putting the routes up as he finds them.. that or the route you see is my test route (CBFF suffix). I've not flown the Tristar 'live' yet.. only the DC-10-30, 707's and 741's ;-)

Garry..
Yup.. it's coming on but I'm not happy. Manfred had the nose anti-glare as black and on all of the shots I've found, it looks light grey (noting they're b&w shots) Also.. the PK has a lot of layers 'merged' so my new reg is sitting on top of the wing dirt. It doesn't look too bad but as I said.. I'm not happy. What started out as a 5min reg change is taking considerably longer! Thank goodness we only have this one reg on the VA  I can do 2 variations for it though as post war, the huge fuse and wing reg's changed to a more normal size ;-)

Hi ave

Grey for the anti dazzle sounds odd

I would have thought the blue..which can look black against the metal

Dave.... modify your text layer to multiply and the detail should show correct :worried:

Not done it off a text layer so I can't say for certain but you will probably have to rasterize it first.

Hi Mate

I just been off looking at loads of pics :cpu:

It seems it was blue with the small reg....not black as it is too light

On the large reg the grey appears odd at times and a corgi pic shows it as lime green :dunno:

Just looked at the two you linked

The bottom one is blue

The top one is that green/grey but looks odder as the pic is filtered..look at the flag

Hello Mate..

Yes.. green is what I've seen before too but not on the Lanc. The top shot was probably so bad, it had the crap filtered out of it to get a reasonable result (though not done as well as it might have been).

I've a shot of MG (large reg) in my BOAC bible but the nose is suffering a bit of over-exposure while the rest is dark  Don't ya hate B&W :brick:

I'll continue this via PM as it's been dragged far enough off course ;-)
