VC10s G-ASGK and GA

Post by Globitz »

Afternoon all,

While trying to decide what/where to fly next, I noticed that the aforementioned Super VC10s were both off station with pilots whose type ratings have expired leaving them stranded overseas.

Would the management mind if I repatriated them over the next week as I would quite like a bit of longhaul to keep me occupied?

Cheers

Hi Andy,

By all means, bring them home.

Thanks John,

I suppose I'd better think about a nice route to take over the weekend! Maybe a bit later over a :guinn: or 2.............. ;)

Pick it up Dan.. I've not removed your rating.

Actually.. I was gonna say leave them both where they are or contact the pilots first but there you go. I knew one was yours Dan and the other one is Joe Cusicks. Not sure what's happened to Joe but he is the VC10 fleet manager and still at that airport as far as I know. It's not like we have a shortage of airframes :)

Sounds good to me.

I'll leave them where they are.
