Info needed to get aircraft onto the FlyNET database
If anyone could fill in the blanks here it would be appreciated
For each aircraft type on the database, the following information is needed for us to submit.
Manufacturer
Model
ICAO Code (For flight plans = eg BA11 for BAC1-11)
Max Passengers
Market value (What would it cost to buy)
Still manufactured?
Dry operating weight
Max zero fuel wt
Max take-off wt
Cargo capacity (In pax config)
Normal/econ cruise speed
Number of engines
If anyone wants to help by filling in the spaces it would be a great help. Once compiled, a list will be finalised for checking/confirmation before submitting to FlyNET. Check this page at FlyNET to get market values of similar capacity aircraft http://flynet.en-studios.de/index.php?l ... status2=db
Aircraft not already registered at Flynet :-
AW Argosy
BAC 1-11-400
BAC 1-11-475
DH Dove
DH Comet 3
DH Comet 3B
DH Comet 4
DH Comet 4B
DH Comet 4C
HP Dart Herald
HS748
HS Trident 2
HS Trident 3
Vickers Viscount 700
Vickers Viscount 800
Vickers Vanguard
Vickers VC10
Thanks and rgds

Looking at your list
If you are differentiating between the V.700 and V.700D Viscount, then you also should have the V.810 that had superior peformance to the 800.
Also just VC10 rather that Super and Standard
Missing seems to be Comet 3B
What about Viking and Ambassador are they still arround then?
Just a thought.

Hi Garry
I must admit, I just went to Rick's page and he just mentions the 3 models 700, 700D and 800. I haven't re-installed all my aircraft yet since a major hard drive clean up so can't check. How many Viscount models are available through the FS9 menu ? If there is a specific 800 and 810 and specific 700 and 700D then I suppose we will need all added at some point, please let me know. Looking at the ICAO code for the Viscount, all models use 'VISC' so initially we will probably buy those that have the most seats
My bad, I missed off the Comet 3B. Likewise, all Comets use 'COMT' for flightplan purposes so again will prob initially go for the largest acft.
The Super VC10 is already in the database as are the BAC 1-11 200 and the BAC 1-11 500. BAe 146-100/200/300 are also already in the database.

At the moment only Viscount 700 and 800 so just those two
The One-Eleven 400 is more powerful than the 200, the engines are 4 inches longer or at least the nacelles are.
The 300 and 400 are the same the 475 has better performance as it has the wings and engines of the 500
The 200 is on it's own but for FS reasons not too much difference depending how much depth you go into it

Guys, don't worry about the "Still Manufactured?" line. They're all not, so I know that already.
Also, the weights are CRITICAL. If you don't get them (or a good guess of them) then you'll be likely to overload the airplane with the client and not be able to put sufficient fuel aboard for your flight. The MaxZFW will allow you to take max payload for your flight (most of the time, we're still working on ways to force the system to knock down loads after a certain range per aircraft) and not run short on fuel.
The market value (this is extremely important) is not the "as new" price. Aircraft that are no longer manufactured are listed by their average market price TODAY (or what it would be if they were still available for sale). The system adds a random number of aircraft to the market each week from the ones that are not manufactured anymore to simulate them being put up for sale on the market from "other" airlines. So keep this in mind when filling out the information.
Finally, your cargo capacity (just another reminder here) if in a passenger configuration is max cargo in the belly. If it's a combi aircraft, then it's max payload for the freight part only. If it is a cargo aircraft, then it is max payload for the whole aircraft.
Have fun! I'll be entering this information as it comes in, so we won't have to spend time with getting them confirmed.
