VISCOUNT FUEL LOADING

Hi guys, :)

In view of recent discussion on contingency fuel and the amounts left on board, with immediate effect can all pilots make sure that the following is adhered to;

ADD 2000kg/4400lb CONTINGENCY FUEL TO THE CALCULATED TRIP FUEL

This is the target fuel remaining after a normal flight, and approximate quantity to be left on board after use.

I will progressively be tanking up the fleet so that each aircraft has approximately 4400lb on board, meantime it will cost you a bit more if you take one with a low fuel quantity. Once the fuel levels are reached, theoretically only trip fuel will have to be bought in future along with any required to make up the contingency fuel.

If it helps, this little gauge can be added to your panels

It shows the trip fuel required as well as contingency, and the distribution required between tanks. For structural reasons there's a bit extra on the Viscount

Fuel Planner

Click the aircraft type caption at the foot of the card to change aircraft type between Viscount and Vanguard.

Click the units on the right hand side to change between lbs and kgs.

Click or scroll on the Distance area to select trip distance, required fuel and contingency fuel will
be displayed automatically, showing the amounts to be filled in EACH inboard and outboard tank.

Your cooperation is appreciated

cheers

Fraser
