I Protest!

Post by adysmith »

Flew from Kai Tak to Guanzhou (Baiyun) exactly as planned and booked.

The system has marked me as landed at wrong airport, claiming I should have landed at "ZGGG-9" which does not exist as a separate entity from Guanzhou ZGGG.

I have marked the flight for review at FSA but how do I get my percentage back on here?

I think "ZGGG-9" is the location of the airport in FS9, where ZGGG is the airport in FSX and later. Since very few of us still use FS9 maybe we should move those routes over to the official ZGGG to avoid this problem in the future.

You might want to submit a support ticket on FSA saying what you want to do with it, otherwise it will probably get deleted.

For now i just went and duplicated all the flights going to and from ZGGG-9 so there is also one that goes to ZGGG. Unless your using the FS9 default scenery, don't use ZGGG-9. Apparently
The old Baiyun Airport opened in 1932. Due to the expansion of Guangzhou, the airport could not expand to meet passengers needs as buildings surrounded the airport. On August 5, 2004, the new Baiyun Airport opened and the old airport was closed.
