Hi Guy's,

An area for posting recommended scenery's has been requested a number of times and with no dedicated forum to post, those that have been recommended tend to end up all over the place making them difficult to find. This new area should put an end to that

It doesn't matter if a new scenery is payware or freeware, if it covers one of the VA's destinations and you think others might appreciate it.. post details here

Good idea! Be nice to make the destinations that bit more interesting.
I've been using Garry Summons stuff for years now to cover the UK but its nice to have something when I start to fly futher a field.

Guy's..

Can you indicate when posting, which sim a particular scenery is for please. While I appreciate the vast majority of us are still using FS9, FSX is starting to find it's way into more regular use so an indication of which sim the scenery is intended for will stop us all going for something we don't want

Absolutely brilliant idea Dave, had already posted a question regarding scenery and appreciate this Thread greatly.

only trouble is......making my mind up on which one to go for!

First:
Find out where you want to go from and to.

Second:
Go to the site I mentioned as a basis scenery search base.

Third:
Get the scenery and install it

If second fails, try a direct search on either Avsim of FlightSim

If this also fail, try Google, but by now you are probably on your way far from getting a good scenery to replace the default. But...you can be lucky.

I always start out from frettenflat/walhalla (might make that one sticky, as it is a very good place to start from....)
