That freebie is excellent. Took a little bit of sussing out how to get the map bigger, but its a keeper. Cheers! 😀👍🏻

Going OT in typical CBFS fashion, I'm not sure what that is Dave uses, but have you tried "Little Navmap"?
Works fine with FSX & P3dv4. Shows AI aircraft (and ships! :RN: ) and it's free. :)
Thanks very much for the tip, Dave. LittleNavMap looks like a winner! :)

Downloaded the little navmap yesterday and tried it for the first time today. There are strengths and weaknesses but aren't there with every bit of software. A MASSIVE strength is the price which is excellent  Difficult to berate something of this quality and complexity (given the price tag) so I won't bother. :cpu: Thks for the HU Dave

Flew that off the wall flight from East Mids to Sola in the JF 757 using LittleNavMap as my navigation tool. It has some really cool features like showing on the bottom line what AP functions you have and when AS16 has updated. Like the detail that pops up when you click on an airport too. This said.. for all that detail, I couldn't see what the ILS freqs were :wall: I'm sure it must be there somewhere but I couldn't see it for the life of me. Ah well.. I'm getting used to hearing 'SINK RATE'

Yes Little NavMap I have switched to also. Used to use PlanG but find it very unstable with lockups and crashes.

OK, back on topic...
I posted over at MAIW, and the dev responded with an updated background bgl.
I don't want to post a link to the file directly, but the link to the forum thread is here: http://www.militaryaiworks.com/forums/1 ... ?start=140

Not sure if you may need to be logged in over there to see the link.
