Sound Problems.

Post by Nigel H-J »

Just hope that some-one may be able to help or offer advice.

Just recently I installed MCE (Multi Crew Experience) to see what it was like, after a couple of tries I decided it wasn't for me and uninstalled it.

Now I find that when flying and selecting a switch the engine noise dies down considerably then picks up again later. In Cliffs of Dover when on TeamSpeak and some one talks I lose sound from the engines and guns.

I have gone into sounds through the control Panel and made sure that when Windows detects communication activity I selected Do Nothing. Did not work.

Tried everything I could think of including doing a Restore but still the sound dies away before coming back to normal.

Even re-installed my sound card driver but no luck that end.

Becoming quite frustrated now and wonder whether anyone can shed some light on why this is happening.

I am running Win7 64bit and have a Creative Audigy Soundblaster Card.

I suppose I could always ask MCE but they may in turn say it is not our product that has done it!! 8)

Regards
Nigel.
