That looks pretty good, how far north does it cover?

Certainly looks very impressive. I'll be waiting to see how the P3d version performs, but this may well prod me into getting XP. :worried:

Hi Alemaobaiano scroll down to the map of England and it shows which areas are going to be covered, TE South UK is in red. Plenty of countryside to explore until Central is released sometime next month.

P3d version due about December if I remember correctly Dave.

Smashing screen shots, much better than the one's I posted!!

Nigel.

That goes further north than I expected

I run scenery on a different HD to my XP SSD using shortcuts. Has anyone tried that with this?

Thanks

A delightful plane to fly is the ERCoupe 415. Downloaded it and took it for a quick hop, steering on the ground is by rudders though when airborne and I tried using the rudders they only seem to work in tandem with the ailerons which, for cross wind landings might be a bit tricky until you get the front wheel down.

Temperamental in starting, once the starter button is pressed the propeller seems to struggle when it reaches compression but eventually it will start. More than likely the real aircraft behaved in the same way.

Open cockpit which means that viewing the countryside is a much better experience than being enclosed.

Some pics. There are other aircraft also available but for earlier versions of X Plane and not for version 11+ so just the one that I can see but it is still worth downloading. Link is bottom of screenshots.

And I just paid more than $55, downloaded 26 Gigabytes and found Cheltenham to be a totally flat image with no buildings whatsoever. Tour of the Cotswolds my arse.

Those are some wonderful screen shots Chris, what lighting effect are you using? I have Re-shade but still tweaking and trying different settings as some colours appear to be too bright so wonder what your settings might be if you have the same.

The one I have is freeware if that's any help.

Great pictures!
