Unable to Register FSX after Install

Well I just seem to find things that no longer appear to work properly with W10, I twice installed FSX on my 2nd Drive as need more space for my C: Drive although have 930Gb available I might as well use the 2nd disc I have.

After install I got Product Activation Error: An error occurred while attempting to activate the product. The problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application. Reinstalling the application may resolve the problem. Otherwise please contact product support for assistance.

This is the reason I reinstalled it but that did not help, now cannot even install Acceleration as FSX is not registered. Any suggestions?

Nigel, I think I had 4 attemtps at activating FSX. Eventually it happened.

About 6 goes with Accell.

Got it registered, the fault lay in me, I right clicked on the FSX.exe went into compatibility / change settings for all users and then checked the box Run this program as an administrator.

Feel quite a plonker but at least tomorrow I can load in all my sceneries.

I think you may be right on that but as for the pot noodles they are only opened in cases of extreme hunger!!
